Mobile 17

This site has been around for quiet a while and is pretty cool. In essence it is a free ring tone sight. It allows you to make ring tones from songs already present on your computer. You can choose how long you want the ring tone to be, from which point in the song it starts, at which point in the song it ends, and so on. Once you are finished with this it will send you the ring tone via text or email for you to use it on your phone. It does require a bit of patience because tones are delivered in the order they are made (unless you pay). The site also allows you to make pics and graphics for our phone a much more. The site supports somewhere around 94% of all phones currently available on the market, so chances are that it will work with your phone.
Mobile 17

History of Mobile 17
Mobile17 is a "ringtone maker" website that enables users to create mobile content (such as ringtones and graphics) at no-charge. When initially launched in 2005, it sported the name "SmashTheTones". After being featured on the now defunct TechTV's "The Screen Savers" and reviewed in Sarah Lane's 'Damn Good Download' weekly segment, (video-clip on YouTube) the site was revamped and the project's name matured from "SmashTheTones" to "Mobile17".
The site has been mentioned in publications such as Popular Science and Men's Health magazines, as well as The Boston Globe.
